The Rural Energy for America Program covers up to 50% of project costs for a variety of energy production and energy efficiency projects for agricultural producers and small businesses in qualifying rural areas. The 2024 application deadline is September 30. AP&D will work with you to develop a grant application and determine the right energy company to complete the installation.

American Farmland Trust is offering Brighter Future grants of up to $5000 for a brief application window of 7/1-7/8 2024. This program is committed to supporting farmers across the country by providing grants to improve farm viability, access, transfer, or permanently protect farmland, or adopt regenerative agricultural practices. Starting in 2022, the fund is prioritizing funding for farmers who identify as BIPOC, Veterans, LGBTQIA+, and beginning farmers who have had limited access to financial resources in the past. The NH Conservation Districts Climate Resilience Grant aims to empower local farmers in building climate resilience across the Granite State. The grant focuses on reducing the impact of local agriculture on climate change through greenhouse gas emissions reduction and carbon sequestration.
